its always been bad just ask the slaves or the serfs and peasants of the middle ages, or the children that worked day and night in the factories of the industrial age, or coal miners dead in a mine shaft , the amazing thing is we still support a capitalist system that creates the inequities, misery and inescapable poverty not to mention an endless assault on the middle class standard of living
