Over the last decade, Marin has established himself as one of the most successful portfolio managers in the resource sector. His 2009 Fund Partnership (KC50 Fund, LLC) outperformed the TSX-V by over 600%.

Marin left a successful teaching career to pursue analyzing and investing in junior resource companies. In addition, he is a regular commentator on BNN & RT. Marin is a member of the Vancouver Angel Forum where he and his colleagues evaluate early seed investment opportunities.
