Bob Chapman : the $800 billion stimulus has come to an end

There is no question that the $800 billion stimulus has come to an end. During the past 16 months $200 billion of that $800 billion has shown up in consumer spending. The rest has raced through the economy and the result is a budget deficit in the vicinity of $1.8 trillion.

Over the past several months we have seen a decreasing number of new unemployed, but last month those official figures rose. That to us was the signal that the growth in employment had ended as well as the mini-recovery. We will know better the situation when May’s figures are released. The small increase in non-farm payroll tells us our appraisal of offshoring and outsourcing is correct. We predicted the effects of offshoring and outsourcing in 1967, but, of course, no one was listening.

Small business’ contribution has been zero. Many of these businesses are failing and most cannot get loans. We expect that condition to persist indefinitely, which means job stability is nowhere to be seen in the immediate future. In spite of bogus government figures the economy is not growing and won’t grow. Unless the system is totally purged in a classic way there will never be any recovery....Bob Chapman in The International Forecaster Read Full article >>>>

Bob Chapman on Discount Gold and Silver Trading 28 June 2010

Bob Chapman on the international forecaster of 26 june 2010 :"The foregoing events lead us to other manifestations of trouble, real trouble. For the past four years all currencies have fallen versus gold and silver. The US dollar has been falling for 11 years versus gold and silver. What gold is telling you is that the US, UK and European financial systems are on the way to collapse. The cover-up cannot go on and all the players know that. They are all living in the theater of the absurd. What politicians in all these countries are doing is what they are being told to do. If they do not do what they are told they will never hold public office or be a bureaucrat again. If what they do is serious enough they will be liquidated. What is happening financially, fiscally and monetarily is unnatural. There is absolutely no way the system can be fixed. If these politicians and their handlers believe this they are doomed. They have pulled this hundreds of times and each time they have been unsuccessful. This time will be a disaster for the Illuminists due to the Internet and talk radio. This time they will escape nothing. We live in a decadent, immoral financial system that has to fall. In this sort of environment only gold and silver can protect your assets."

Bob Chapman : Markets are torn by near zero interest rates and risk aversion

...Markets are torn by near zero interest rates and risk aversion. A trillion have left money market funds over the past 16 months. Some have gone into bonds, junk bonds and into the market. You cannot have it both ways. Bonds cannot go higher and the market is very dangerous, especially with three quarters coming up with passable to bad results. Then there is the possibility of tax increases next year to accompany 19 new taxes in the Medical Reform package. There is also the possible passage of Cap & Trade, which would double gas prices, illegal alien amnesty and government taxing or taking over your retirement plans. These issues are why it is so important to replace almost all the incumbents in November. Bob Chapman in The International Forecaster 26 June 2010

Bob Chapman freetruth show June 25, 2010

Bob Chapman on The International Forecaster of 16 June 2010:"Discussions are in progress to relieve you of your wealth. They have already destroyed the real estate market. The stock market will be next to fall followed by bonds. You have to begin exiting now before the rules become more onerous. In fact, such events will force workers to jump at the chance for a worthless government program. Fortunately you will already be out and into gold and silver assets. If you do not begin your exit now you will be plundered by government. We might add that in the process of the stock and bond market falling there will be a consolidation and nationalization of banks, so immediately exit CDs. Those lower values in stocks and bonds will lower the value of cash value life insurance policies and annuities, which also should be terminated while you still have time to do so. Whether we like it or not, this is to be a total takedown. If you think moving assets offshore, forget it, unless you are willing to live in that new country and become a citizen. The US has agreements with many countries already to access the assets of US citizens. Why do you think the number of Americans renouncing citizenship is growing in leaps and bounds? There are some savvy people who are able to escape and are doing so. Now is the time to act. He who hesitates is lost."<object width="480" height="385">

Bob Chapman : California will go Bankrupt !

Bob Chapman on Discount Gold and Silver Trading 23 June 2010

By Bob Chapman on the International forecaster of 12 june 2010 :
"The financial industry is loaded with fraud and always has been. Can you imagine a banker making loans to the completely unqualified and using 70 to 1 leverage, when 9 times deposits is acceptable? Can you image rating agencies rating paper as AAA when in fact it is BBB? Then there are the 35% overvaluations of assets that lead to bank failures and no one goes to jail. This is serious crime and these crooks just walk away Scot-free. What a system. The Bernie Madoff’s flourish and have no remorse having stolen from little old ladies. He complains they threw money at me, what was I to do? Refuse it you scumbag.
How can any professional not express dismay when banks such as Goldman Sachs, and JPMorgan Chase never have trading losses. We did that for 25 years and they and we know that is impossible. Worse yet, 80% of their clients lost money. Those trading profits made up 93% of profits at Morgan Stanley as well. As a professional we know the only way that can be accomplished is by screwing your clients.
We can count in as well naked shorting, front running (flash trading), theft, money laundering, fraud and rules that let players neither admit nor deny and pay a fine.
This is what your financial system has come too. You are controlled by a group of criminals. "

Bob Chapman : Greece will default The Euro will be Gone in a couple of years

Bob Chapman on Radio Liberty 21 June 2010 - The Economy & World Europe, Greece, the Dollar

WTO will collapse says Bob Chapman
"All the central banks involved are broke or virtually broke. If they are not broke why is their condition a big secret? The Bundesbank told Spain last week that we do not want stress test results made public. The reason obviously was because of the sad condition German banks are in and their penchant again to keep everything secret. These are the same people who want a one-world currency in the form of an SDR, which is worthless, because it has no backing. It is just another fiat currency. They all are in such bad shape they cannot even sterilize their interventions. The new trillions we see in the system in Europe and the US cannot be sterilized." Bob Chapman : Raising Taxes is the worse thing to do in the worse time

John Stadtmiller - June 22 2010- Robby Noel, Bob Chapman- Roundtable

Highlights:

Robby might move to South Africa in September of this year. Budget director is leaving this summer, they might replace him with Laura Tyson. Congressional Budget office is saying 100 trillion in projected deficits.

Depression might last 10 or 20 years according to Bob if they raise taxes. The proverbial "Canary in the Coalmine" is California. When they fall, the rest will follow. In other states Billions might come out of pension funds.

Bob maintains that we still have a 1 1/2 years out yet. Barry is making mistakes that could backfire. Bob makes some other interesting observations. Arizona might move to not issue birth certificates to "anchor babies" (babies of illegal aliens).

Caller asks whats new with the E.U....Chapman says that Greece is getting closer to leaving the Euro and going back to the Drachma. What recourse do the German people have? There is tremendous dissent there especially with the increase of taxes there.

Half the Gulf is covered in oil and that is just what is visible. John mentions again about the methane gas and says the Gulf is dead. Bob wonders if the Gulf 'spill' will travel around the world...and calls it a false flag operation.

Nuking the Gulf was discussed, John says if they nuke the well it could cause a tsunami which could kill millions in Florida.

John goes into detail about what happened to Spain and uses the example of what will happen to us here in the U.S. John says the system will go down.

A lot of information was covered this week...

Deutsch Bank is Bankrupt : Bob Chapman

Extract from the International Forecaster of 16 June 2010 :"US  MARKETS
Were it not for the Federal Reserves purchase of Treasury and Agency bonds the US would already be unable to raise funds to service debt and issue new debt, and it would already have descended into national bankruptcy. It is no wonder the Fed does not want to be audited. Through various artifices the Fed has been purchasing US treasury paper. No one knows how much, because when asked the Fed says it is a state secret. That is what all Americans love. A country run in secrecy. A privately owned corporation operating under the cover of secrecy, and protected by a Treasury Department, that is under the control of the Fed’s owners. How is that for an incestuous relationship?
Government is desperately searching for more revenue to cover its massive deficit spending and to service existing mandatory programs. Taxes are being increased; some 19 new taxes, in the recently passed medical reform legislation. Unfortunately this isn’t enough. Of course, there is never enough."

Bob Chapman : Every major Bank in The US and Europe is Broke

Bob Chapman on The Sovereign Economist 16 June 2010

From The International Forecaster of the 16th June 2010 : "US banks are fighting to preserve the use of securities that help them appear better capitalized, even as their investments in each others notes perpetuate what one regulator calls a downward spiral of losses. The cross-ownership, largely unnoticed by bank supervisors who generally discourage the practice, was made possible by a Wall Street innovation like the ones that allowed subprime mortgages to flourish. Small lenders were able to sell trust-preferred securities, known as TruPS, because investment bankers packaged them with those issued by dozens of other financial institutions."

Bob Chapman : They will use the Oil spill to pass The cap and trade

Bob Chapman on Discount Gold and Silver Trading 16 June 2010

Extract from the International Forecaster of 16 June 2010:"Our fiat currency (paper or digital “money” without gold or silver backing that is intrinsically worthless) was originally promoted as a device by means of which “liquidity” could be managed by the government and/or Federal Reserve. The object was to avoid slumps in the business cycle and increase the efficiency of our economy. That rationale sounds great, but the consequence of being able to spin an endless supply of fiat dollars into circulation has been the creation of a governmental and private debt that’s too great to ever be repaid. Increased monetary efficiency has increased our vulnerability to an economic collapse. "

Bob Chapman : Peak Oil is a Fairy tale

John Stadtmiller - June 15 2010- Robby Noel, Bob Chapman- Financial Round table

Highlights:

John called into the show for the first few minutes. Seems a couple of idiots who called some RBN shows used some less than colorful language while their San Antonio station was on the air. RBN was fined $5000 by the FCC , suspended from the San Antonio station for 15 days and now has to use a 7 second delay. The plan to go on other stations still goes forth.

Since John was not feeling well. Robby and Bob Chapman took over the program.

Bob asks how could all the so called financial experts be wrong most of the time and still have subscribers. Robby maintains that the Gold market still has a long way to go to be on parity with 1980. Using 1980 figures...Gold should be $2500 ( a ounce).

A caller mentions that Mike Ruppert was on Russia Today and mentioned Peak Oil, Bob disagrees.

29:56
Caller asks about Germany. Bob mentioned the German people never wanted the Euro and people there are fed up. There have been demonstrations in Berlin and Stuttgart. (I don't recall if such demonstrations were ever covered by the American media.)

The recent concerns by Zbigniew Brzezinski seem to apply to the European Union as well. The EU could fall apart according to Bob. The problems in Europe will affect the U.S. as well as the rest of the world.

37:41
We are headed into a deflationary period, there has to be a infusion of cash soon as there is a six month lag time. Caller asks about IRA's.

60:10
Robby mentions the recent concerns about Gold confiscation by the U.S. Government. Bob says if the Government wants it, they will get it...unless you defend it. If you move your assets to another country they could still get it...Bob says "you are dealing with criminals".

A caller mentions the book "None Dare Call It A Conspiracy" being instrumental in learning the truth. Caller said he bought the book for $1.95 when it was available. He goes on to mention that the constitution is gone since 1938.

77:19 Caller asks If cornering the silver market legal? Robby says JP Morgan is doing it now. There is going to be a class action suit against Morgan for silver manipulation according to Bob...He added that Morgan could likely end up just paying a fine..

Another informative program with Robby and Bob running the show.

Gold Surges As Euro Continues To Collapse

Bob Chapman on The Sovereign Economist 09 June 2010

From The International Forecaster Newsletter :"As we look forward we see money supply plunge to the same levels of the 1930s. This is the same thing the Fed did between 1929 and 1933. We have zero interest rates, but they really only help the large borrowers and those with AAA ratings. In the first quarter $300 billion was removed from the economy, or a contraction of 9.6%. By the way that proves the upward move in gold and silver have not been the result of anticipated inflation, but by other factors, such as Europe’s problems. We cited the fall a year ago of European M3 and M4 like figures, and as usual, no one was listening. We, as you can see, have had the same result in the US. These reductions obviously were well coordinated. In addition, the assets of institutional money market funds have fallen at a 47% rate, the sharpest drop ever. Part of this Fed move is for banks to raise capital asset ratios as the Fed removes and overpays them for their toxic assets, which the taxpayer gets to pay for. That in part is why banks won’t lend to small and medium-sized companies, and this is why there cannot be a recovery. The banks, Wall Street, and insurance companies are selectively being bailed out, irrespective of the consequence to the US and European economies. Unfortunately, we are following the path of the “Great Depression.” That means gold and silver are being purchased in a flight to quality. Yes, we believe inflation is on the way in bigger numbers, but unless things change dramatically it won’t be long before that inflation is overcome and deflationary depression takes hold."

Bob Chapman : do not expect the government to guarantee your bank account , it is bankrupt

Bob Chapman on Radio Liberty 06-07-10

Extract from The International forecaster of May 29 2010 :
"The U.S. government’s Aaa bond rating will come under pressure in the future unless additional measures are taken to reduce projected record budget deficits, according to Moody’s Investors Service Inc.

The U.S. retains its top rating for now because of a “high degree of economic and institutional strength,” the New York- based ratings company said in a statement today that was little changed from a credit opinion released in February. The outlook is stable, the statement said.

The government’s finances have been “substantially worsened by the credit crisis, recession, and government spending to address these shocks,” Moody’s analysts lead by Steven A. Hess wrote. “The ratios of general government debt to GDP and to revenue are deteriorating sharply, and after the crisis they are likely to be higher than the ratios of other Aaa-rated countries.”

Debt to revenue has more than doubled over the past three years and is now over 400 percent, which could lead to “potential stress” on finances, the report said.

“This whole financial crisis in Europe has actually benefited the U.S. government in its access to finance,” Hess said in a telephone interview. “The U.S. Treasury market has become once again, as it was during the recent financial crisis globally, the safe haven, and therefore lots of money flows into the U.S. Treasury market and that is a very positive.”

Tuesday morning rumors and a FT story about Germany extending its short-selling ban prevented US stocks from a larger opening decline and generated a rally after the opening onslaught.

One rumor said the ECB would cut its 1.00% benchmark rate by 50bps generated a rally in US stocks after the opening carnage.

Any ECB rate cut would pressure the euro, which in turn would induce traders to sell European sovereign debt, which would exacerbate Europe’s debt-death spiral.

On Tuesday morning, the NYSE invoked Rule 48, which allows the NYSE to suspend the requirement to disseminate price indications at the open. Looks like all that technology isn’t very useful – or does the opaqueness aid and abet the connected few in their desire to operate with ‘an edge’?

Tuesday’s rally got a second-stage boost during midday when Cong. Barney Frank stated that forcing banks to spin off their derivatives operations “goes too far” in regard to financial reform."
